Role Models

  • Owain Bridge

Positive role modeling and visibility is important.

You can't be what you can't see I supposed.

And, so unless you can be visible in being openly

transgender, gay, lesbian, bisexual,

then, then people aren't gonna have the confidence

that actually it's something that's accepted.

But, at the same time you don't have to be any of those

characteristics to be part of the network.

You can show your support as an ally.

And there's a fledgling allies network within

the RAF now that is gaining massive momentum.

Which shows its support for all diverse backgrounds.

As a group of people who you wouldn't traditionally

fit into those backgrounds.

So it's a coming together of everybody really

in order to show its solidarity.
