Transcript

So, then I want you to know who I've had

They went through my address book.

They went through everybody in my address

Is this is this person gay?

Is this person a lesbian?

Family, friends.

They, said they would interview everybody.

They would interview all my friends.

You know, I had friends in Germany

Islands.

They went to such lengths

because the whole.

Aim. Yeah.

The whole aim was to find these gay rings,

you know, gay and lesbian rings,

potential spies,

because we were open to blackmail.

Of course, the reason we were open to

to be gay in the armed forces.

But anyway, so the whole questioning

predominantly focused

But they also took a great

delight

who did what to who, how often you did it,

For how long?

How many times?

I mean, it was just.

On and on and on and on and on.

My sergeant sitting there,

So I just said, no comment on the time.

I think I didn't give anybody else up.

At the end of that,

that they expected that I would be

I was to return to my quarters,

I was not to leave Gibraltar,

and I was not to return to my workplace

center, which, of course,

And so and I was to be seconded

into the Army,

So,

then I

which was much shorter,

I think actually was the third interview

I was going to be second

and to tell me

But I couldn't leave Gibraltar,

And, the in due course,

I would be

They were going to go and visit

and my friends and family

and I would be told

discharged. So.
