I was shot at by
someone with possibly a grudge against the noisy
aircraft overhead, they found when we landed
back in our base, the ground crew found a hole
in the tailplane of the aircraft and it matched
the size of a hunting rifle round.
They decided that someone shot at us
probably on the approach to land,
we'd been in a high altitude training
so it wasn't then,
so it must've been on the approach to land,
they never found the culprit.
But they made a mess of the tailplane trying to discover
which size bullet fit in the same type hole.
